I visit your blog regularly. It is not the best blog I have ever seen but your is definnitely one of the blogs that I enjoy the most. It makes me laugh reading your posts and I always look forward to it. Keep on doing whatever you like doing. It is your blog, it is you who decide what should or should not be in it. I'm an editor, so I can't keep my hands off of stuff like this. So here's my opinion whether you want it or not.

The title should be initial capped, meaning it should be written this way:

The People We Love to Hate

It should NOT be 1/2 initial capped, and the other 1/2 lowercased.

As for the line "Bitch Slapping Celebrities, One Hit at a Time" I can't read the purple words against the black background, and the words are set in too small a font. In other words, I have to squint or use a magnifying glass to figure out what the line says. Not a good thing.

Okay, done with my input. You WERE asking for input, right?? ;) If not, oops, sorry, the design you posted is simply "lovely."

I like the glam look of the font... it's a teensy bit hard to read... but not too bad. I'd keep it. The purple is a problem though.

Oh, and my big complaint about any site is the word IT'S and the possessive form, ITS.

People use the apostrophe all the time. It makes me crazy. : )

If something is possessive and belongs to the main thing in the sentence, DON'T use an apostrophe.

Here's the correct possessive of ITS:

Hollywood and its stars.
VH1 and its new programs.
The stray cat and its babies.

The only time to stick in the ' thing is when you're actually saying it is.

Like, "It's Britney's problem. It's going to be a difficult pregnancy. Louisiana is sure a great state, and its people love Britney. Except they do hate K-Fed. He's a monster, not a man! And it's a fact."

it bugs me too as i was a reporter and copy editor for 2 years, but who cares, its an informal blog! hence why i use no apostrophes and all lower case.

that purple is nice but you cant really read it; try another color or font for that.

 

yeah...not liking the font here.

And I also read this blog daily, simply because it's the funniest. You crack me up.
