Seriously, Old Navy flipflops are 2 pairs for $5......all that money and not a fucking clue to save their lives!!! Hey, if she wants ringworm, more power to her I guess.
I don't get this celebrity obsession with walking around barefoot. Needles, gum and broken glass aside, they're just going to get tough, nasty skin on the underside of your grubby-ass feet. Just stop it!
Walking barefoot is healthy. It eliminates back and foot bone problems many people get when they are older from wearing shoes for so many years. Walking barefoot consistently builds healthy roughness. Most barefooters don't cut their feet when stepping on glass because of the reduced sensitivity. Just another perspective. :-)
I agree with "Cat." Walking barefoot is healthy, & to some people, a spiritual experience. I'm a Barefooter (member of Barefooters.Org), & wrote a blog about walking barefoot. Go to my MySpace page to check it out: MySpace.com/dmchillemi.
I think it's cool when celebrities walk barefoot. It shows us that they're just normal, down-to-earth people. Why must everyone constantly judge & criticize them (or anyone for that matter)? Lighten up, folks. :-)
I also agree with Cat and anonymous! I hate wearing shoes and feel more comfortable barefooted. I love it when Actresses go barefoot, especially Julia Roberts (O: and don't worry about bloggers like most of you, concerned about their health! That is bogus! Relax! Chill Out! Enjoy life! Kick your shoes off!
