I third the George Michael initial thought-but old Georgie not icky poo one now. I haven't seen any previews or heard anything either way, and no matter how much I would fuck him, I will not go and see this-it is going to blow.
By him I am refering to Colin Farrell. Does anyone know if he really is more on the male side of bi or is it just rumor? I heard something about him getting his break by blowing some director and do you think he is all smoking mirrors. His image or persona seems very precise and calculated like it isn't really him just an image he wants to project...?
Naah, Don't think ol Colin is gay. He did get his start in show business as a "high stepping" country western dancer (in Europe) kind of a "Lord of the Dance" kind of thing, so this may have started rumors from the start.
He mentioned in an article when asked about having to kiss a male co-star in a movie (can't recall who now) that given the choice to have to kiss a man for 20 secs. or work out in a gym for 20 minutes, he would chose the gym.
He went on to say that feeling the man's stubble on his face was just sickening to him. That's alot to say, and alot of detail to embellish so it sounds like he isn;t. But you never know. "My Lady dost protest too much?"
This movie is going to blow! I just bought the second season of the real Miami Vice on DVD last Wednesday. If it ain't broke, don't fix it. They are going to do such a poor job and it's going to be such a joke!
Go to wildhorse.com and read the MV blogs. I'm not alone. MV is the greatest cop show of the 80s. Let it be what it was: perfection (except for seasons 4&5).
Anon 6:47, actually, all that detail makes me think, well, he knows too much detail about kissing a man and has given it too much thought. Methinks the man doth protest too much.
I heard it ended up costing nearly $200 million to make this movie. Do they seriously think they're going to get that back? And why pick Miami Vice to make a movie about. What's next, Knight Rider? A good tv show does not necessarily mean a good movie.
that's some real bad casting.
